Faculty Diversity

This Faculty Diversity dataset provides the most up-to-date data on faculty race, ethnicity and gender. It includes data from more than 3,000 institutions Title IV-compliant, degree-granting institutions. These data include race and ethnicity information by count and percentage by faculty rank, as well identifying information on the colleges including sector and Carnegie Classifications, as well as state information. With these data, you’ll have more information about the state of faculty in the country.

• How your school compares to others in its state and/or peer group in its faculty diversity.
• How minority faculty employment varies by academic rank.
• Which schools in your state or peer group are diversifying their faculty and where there is room to improve.
