Staff Diversity

This Staff Diversity dataset provides the most up-to-date data on race, ethnicity and gender for full-time non-instructional staff. It includes data from more than 3,000 Title IV-compliant, degree-granting institutions. These data include race and ethnicity information by count and percentage by staff category, as well identifying information on the colleges including sector, Carnegie Classifications, and state. It also includes aggregated data by state and sector to allow you to see averages within your region. With these data, you’ll have more information about the state of staff in the country.

What you’ll learn:

• How your school compares to others in its state and/or peer group in its staff diversity.
• How minority staff employment varies by job category.
• Which schools in your state or peer group are diversifying their staff and where there is room to improve.
