The Neurodiverse Campus
The Neurodiverse Campus
Supporting students, faculty, and staff
Each year tens of thousands of students who are neurodivergent graduate from high school, many with aspirations to continue their education. Though many of those students have the capacity to succeed in college and the work force, studies show they are less likely to graduate and find a stable job than are their neurotypical peers.
Readers of this report will:
- Learn how colleges are recruiting neurodivergent students, supporting them through college, and then preparing them for the work force.
- Hear what parents of neurodivergent students are looking for when searching for colleges, and where they’re finding barriers.
- Understand why neurodivergent students might not seek accommodations, and why employees might not disclose their own neurodivergence.
