Our Breaking through Barriers All-Access package is well suited for women who are Program Chairs, Department Chairs, Associate Deans, and other mid-level leaders.

Join us September 16-19 or September 23-26 for a virtual professional development program for women leaders across academe. This groundbreaking program will not only help women in mid-level leadership roles navigate the challenges of leadership, but think strategically about their ability to transform the systems in which they operate from an intersectional lens.

Program Schedule

This program will be offered in two separate sessions to accommodate the busy schedules of women in leadership roles. 

First Session:

• Breaking through Barriers Workshop Intensive - September 16, 12 PM - 4:30 PM ET
• Bridging the Gap Summit - September 19, 12 PM - 6 PM ET

Second Session:

• Breaking through Barriers Workshop Intensive - September 23, 12 PM - 4:30 PM ET
• Bridging the Gap Summit - September 26, 12 PM - 6 PM ET

Participants from both sessions will be invited to a networking capstone event in the summer of 2024 to reconvene with peers, evaluate the progress made towards their commitments from the spring, and to share best practices for the path forward.

Breaking through Barriers Workshop Intensive

Our Breaking through Barriers Intensives on September 16 and September 23 are designed to focus on the unique challenges of women in mid-level academic leadership roles. Through presentations, collaborative breakouts, and guided exercises, the intensive will explore double standards, navigating conflict, and more.

Bridging the Gap Summit

The Bridging the Gap Summits on September 19 and September 26 will bring together women from across leadership levels and their allies for a series of important exercises and conversations around systemic barriers, intersectional viewpoints, and transformational ideas.
